You're a man.
Get out of your fucking room.
Pack your laptop and go to a coffee shop. A hotel. Rent a bnb for the weekend. Go to a different city.
Go ANYWHERE, but your room
After 37 years of age as a man, I’ve finally come to realize that the only cure to depression is just leaving the house at every single possible opportunity no matter how badly you don’t want to.
I prefer 50K style accounts because they fit how I trade.
That does not mean they are magically the best account for every trader alive.
It means for me personally, I do not need the biggest number on the screen to trade well.
In fact, chasing the biggest number has usually made me trade worse.
When I moved bigger and started thinking about records, bigger payouts, bigger everything, I lost some of the simplicity that actually made me good.
I started feeling like I needed to send it.
That does NOT work well for me lol.
Back to 50Ks, back to base hits, back to cheap trades, back to being patient, back to walking away when I should.
There is a lesson there that applies outside of prop firms too.
The best setup for you is not always the one with the most upside.
Sometimes the best setup is the one that keeps you calm enough to execute correctly.
Boring answer. Real answer.
That is the part I want people to actually take seriously. Not the perfect screenshot. Not the one trade that looks great after the fact. The boring repeatable behavior is what gives you a chance to still be around when the good opportunities show up.
The whole system in one line:
win = size up, lose = size down.
When a losing run turns green again, reset to your $500 base and climb from there.
It's not sexy. It's boring. It's also the reason I turned $1,500 into what I trade with today and why I've been profitable 70 months in a row, every single month.
The account doesn't grow because of the green days. It grows because I don't hand it all back on the red ones.
Congratulations on buying your first condo in Toronto. 🇨🇦
You saved for a decade, went into a bidding war for a 500-sq-ft box in Etobicoke, and handed over your entire life savings.
You just bought a 25-year subscription to a condo board that won't fix the elevators, while TD owns the walls.

“The best traders don’t try to predict every move—they manage risk and execute their edge consistently. Your job isn’t to be right on every trade; it’s to follow your plan with discipline. In the long run, consistency beats certainty every time.”
