I can never trust any other person with my pin. Many times staff needs money to pay for somethings and I maybe tired but I always go to withdraw myself to avoid sharing my pin

Last year December, I bought a new sewing machine, on my way back home, i took a drop ( keke )

On our way going, the keke driver kept asking what the machine was for and I told him I’m a fashion designer, he picked so much interest and told me he has learnt sewing before but stopped because he couldn’t see where to work.

His interest was so high that when we reached my apartment, he even helped coupled the machine, he begged that he would like to learn, he sounded so passionate and I asked him to come with his mom.

Very early the next day, he came with his mom, I was convinced about his passion and desire, I gave them my tutoring fee which his mom pleaded to pay half by the end of the month.

I agreed as I didn’t want the dreams of this young man die away. He started, he only came at nights because he still drove his keke during the day.

I was feeding him, teaching him, gave him a phone and sim, sometimes, I helped him with money to fix his Keke, I trusted this maggot and gave him my ATM pin so he can pay for fuel as he didn’t have a bank account.

Only for him to sneak my ATM from my wallet and started withdrawing my money, I saw alerts, asked him and he denied, he didn’t know he was the only one who knew my ATM pin in this life.

It took few days, I investigated and found out it was him who actually withdrew my money and his plea was his younger sister needed school fees.

Sent his foolish ass out of my apartment and never looked back. Now it’s strictly business, I don’t care about anyones dreams or passion, you must pay me my complete tuition fee before I teach you anything.

People make people change.

If you sell an item that the price goes as high as 50k you should post the real life pictures of what you have not these manufacturers edited pictures, customers won't take you seriously. Vendor to vendor advice.

Let’s also address this.

Contrary to the public perception about “signing divorce papers” there’s nothing like that in our matrimonial jurisprudence. I blame this on nollywood for misleading the public by copying the American style sheepishly.

Under the Nigerian law, there are three known types of marriages: statutory marriage, islamic marriage and Customary marriage. This, dissolution of marriage is dependent on the type of marriage you contracted.

1. If it is a statutory marriage, which is erroneously called “court marriage”, the only way to dissolve the marriage is through a court order. It is through a process of presenting a petition for the dissolution of marriage and going through the entire process of trial and judgment. Upon being satisfied that the marriage has broken down irretrievably, the Court gives Order Nisi which is for 3months and after which the Order becomes Absolute and the marriage is completely dissolved. Neither of this Orders requires the signature of the husband or wife to be effective. It’s a Court Order signed by the Judge and Registrar that ends the marriage.

2. If it is a customary marriage, the return of bride price is sufficient to dissolve the marriage. No formality is required and no document is needed to be signed. Once the pride price is returned, they cease to be husband and wife. But because of the enactments made by the states, customary marriages now undergo judicial processes to be dissolved.

3. Dissolution of Islamic marriages is similar to customary marriages above. Once the man pronounces Talaq three times, the marriage ceases to exist and it may also go through judicial process to be effective.

From the above, none of three types of marriages requires “signing of divorce papers” by the parties to the marriage to be effective.
