@grimeskywalkers franchaela legalizes gay marriage, phillip dies and eliose marries marina and takes care of their children, I don't actually know the story but this is my vision
a lot of people are pretending not to understand that what americans want is for price levels to go down. they don’t care about real wage increases or inflation rates, they want nominal price levels to decrease. there is nothing you can do about this.
this is for me and the slice of life enjoyers what if the pitt had an episode called 6am where we see each character's home lives preparing for their shift
when a bway actor tries to break into the ga with music and like makes their own album it’s always like Hmmm let’s maybe stick to just singing other people’s music. Beautiful voice though
if you can't tell the difference between the things listed and the popular mm shows that's on you, people want sapphic representation that doesn't involve gore and has a happy ending
i feel like i’m being gaslit because in recent years there’s definitely been more sapphic representation in mainstream media. arcane, yellowjackets, pluribus, bottoms, drive away dolls, fear street, portrait of a lady on fire, euphoria, killing eve, love lies bleeding, etc.
#HeatedRivalry creator Jacob Tierney on why women love the show:
"Women love these books. These are books written by a woman. These are books largely consumed by women. So I wouldn’t want to speak on behalf of a female audience, but I think that what women are presented in romance is not always something that interests them in that way. I think that women are also, in real life and in culture, endlessly exposed to sexual violence. Seeing things like this, that are depictions ultimately of male vulnerability, can be very refreshing. From what I’ve heard, from the women who have written to me and Rachel and the boys, there’s a safety in seeing a woman being removed from the conversation. So you’re watching something happen between two men, and there is no fear of violence. There is no fear of things turning into stuff that women have to deal with too much in real life, and don’t want to deal with in their fantasies, and ultimately, this is a romantic fantasy. I think it’s also that maybe romance — which is a genre that women love and write and read and are the primary consumers of — just doesn’t get treated with a lot of respect. Nor do the people that make it, or those that adapt it either. So I think that they are responding to, at least I hope, the fact that we came to it pretty fullhearted, and as fans and as people who want to honor this material and want to honor the genre and make it as romantic as we can. That’s certainly what I wanted to do."

@dykellisto I think that two storms might be better than bent neck lady because two storms is where the show shifts from being about each sibling individually to being about the family altogether and I think thats what makes the show so strong
@dykellisto those are both so good, I think two storms is probably the best of the haunting of hill house but my favorite is the last episode because I think it wraps it up so beautifully, my other favorite tv episode is 100 Clues s7e5 but that might be because my favorite movie is clue
I cant say this on tiktok because I have some very famous oomfs that fw marauders but I hate that entire franchise so much and I dont think the marauders fans are doing something quirky or different than hp fans I think youre just solidifying her legacy
this is part of a trend of turning complex stories that criticize society into plain romance and smut, teaching people that they don't have to think critically, making everyone stupid and easy to control
this is such a stupid view of a complex issue, the same thing happened with the 2005 pride and prejudice remake where they added and removed scenes so now everyone sees p&p as a romance and ignores the social critique and depth to her stories
