THIS. I’m 31, and I can assure you: FOCUS ON BUILDING THE LIFE YOU LOVE. Because once you genuinely love your life and have found your peace, when a potential partner comes along, you can REALLY see things clearly: “Will this person add to the peace I already have, or are they going to bring chaos and drama into my life?” And you’ll know whether to let them in or let them go.
go on more walks. walk for no reason. walk to solve a problem. walk to blow off steam. walk to get outside. walk to listen, read, and learn. walk to escape distractions. walk to improve your health. walk to think. a simple walking habit can change absolutely everything.
I don’t think people understand how hard it is when your toxic traits are isolation and avoidance but your love languages are quality time and physical touch.
one thing i learned from being sad is you just have to feel it and once you’re done, you just need to go out of the room because life is so much bigger than the room you’ve been living in. trust me, it works.

Very grateful for NDRRMC alerts. Very important. Very helpful. But why does the tone have to be so aggressively apocalyptic and personally threatening? Pwede bang Marimba na lang?
If I loved someone, I’d choose them not only in life’s brightest moments, but also in the ordinary days and the difficult ones they struggle to endure. I’d listen with patience and become a place where they never have to hide their fears or pretend to be stronger than they feel.
