A memory from JK placement:Wanted to buy brick paper for our dramatic play centre. My AT teacher tossed a sponge at me, and said “boom-brick paper”. I will always remember this lesson that student generated work provides a more meaningful learning environment ⁦@EY_uwindsor⁩

I created this ‘Build a City’ activity mat to enhance play at the Lego centre. It is a great activity to help develop early numeracy skills such as number recognition, counting skills, and 1:1 correspondence. Play is a fundamental part of learning and development @EY_uwindsor

I have Who Has is an interactive game to play as a whole class. It is a fun way to learn and practice various skills (vocabulary, sight words, figurative language). My Language Arts teacher creatively incorporated this learning game into attendance @PJLanguageArts

This word family activity has it all; students can write, build, create or draw. The goal is to get kids to interact with words as much as possible. The repetition of seeing sets of words in a variety of activities helps children begin to read and remember them. @PJLanguageArts
