@segun_os_ It’s okay to not like nose piercings, everyone has their preferences. But attaching it to bad personality traits is just unfair to the good and mentally healthy people who have these piercings
How do you know this? Have you ever dated or had experiences with a girl with a septum or nose ring to come to this conclusion? Even if you have, one or a few experiences don’t prove a pattern for millions of people. If a few people have had bad experiences with women who have septum piercings, that doesn’t justify stereotyping all women with septum piercings, that is an overgeneralization. Just like having a few bad experiences with people from a particular ethnicity or tribe wouldn’t justify making assumptions about everyone in that group, a few experiences with women who have septum piercings don’t justify conclusions about all of them. Septum and nose piercings have existed in many African cultures for centuries, which makes it even more unreasonable to attach negative or toxic personality traits to everyone who wears them
Lmao I have 2.
Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi.
Mother Teresa let dying patients be treated with blunt reused needles, had a mortality rate about 40% in her clinics and when she was confronted about the conditions, said there’s something beautiful in seeing the poor accept their lot, and to suffer it like Christ’s Passion. Doctors called her facilities “homes for the dying”. And cancer patients were given aspirin for pain.
Gandhi too, the face of universal peace, the person that said “be the change you wish to see”, spent years in South Africa describing Black Africans as “savage”, “dirty” and living like animals. He campaigned actively to prove to British rulers that Indians were superior to native Black Africans. He also organized a brigade to help suppress a Zulu uprising. His defenders say he evolved. Maybe.
Nobody likes to talk about the entire sides of history.
And these are their summarized versions btw.
Boring isn’t the word. It’s peace. Healthy Relationships are peaceful, which your brain can mistake for boredom cuz there’s nothing keeping you on your 10 toes all the time.
Yess my mum used to travel out quite a bit for work, and my dad never hesitated to make us Scrumptious meals. He was an akwaibom man so the cooking is in the genes 😂 he made the BEST afang soup with snails, also the best white soup and pounded yam🥹, on days he didn’t feel like cooking we’d just order out, I miss him so much.
