In India, blocking vehicles for hours to allow the convoy of any leader other than His Excellency the President and the Honorable Prime Minister is a mockery and betrayal of democracy.

The security of the Prime Minister and the President is related to the security of the country and we should be aware of this issue.

The government and honorable MPs seem unconcerned with the public's suffering, and this is unfair. Why shouldn't the police be as dedicated to these individuals as they are to the general public?

आज से 25-30 साल पहले, जिन्होंने महिला आरक्षण का विरोध किया वो विरोध राजनीतिक सतह से नीचे नहीं गया था। आज ऐसा समझने की गलती मत करना।

पिछले 25-30 साल में ग्रास रूट लेवल पर पंचायती चुनाव व्यवस्थाओं में जीत कर आईं बहनों में एक पॉलिटिकल कॉन्शियसनेस है। पहले वो शांत रहती थीं, समझती थीं लेकिन बोलती नहीं थीं।

आज वो वोकल हैं। इसलिए आज जो भी पक्ष विपक्ष होगा, वो लाखों बहनें जो पंचायत में प्रतिनिधित्व कर चुकी हैं, लोगों के सुख-दुख को गहराई से देखा है, वो आंदोलित हैं।

हमारे देश में जब से महिला आरक्षण को लेकर चर्चा हुई और उसके बाद जब-जब चुनाव आया है, महिलाओं को मिलने वाले इस अधिकार का जिस-जिसने विरोध किया है, महिलाओं ने उसे माफ नहीं किया है।

2024 के चुनाव में ऐसा नहीं हुआ, ऐसा इसलिए नहीं हुआ क्योंकि तब सबने सर्वसम्मति से इसे पारित किया तो यह विषय ही नहीं रहा।

The Women's Reservation and Delimitation Bill, 2026 – ,it marks a historic step towards the greatest advancement of Indian democracy. Through the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026 and the Delimitation Bill, 2026 (bill no. 108 of 2026), the path is now being cleared to make the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023 reality.

The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam provided for the reservation of one-third (33%) of seats in the Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies for women, including a sub-quota for SC/ST women. However, the implementation of this bill was conditional on delimitation after the next census. This could have been delayed until 2029-34. The 131st Amendment now removes this delay and advances delimitation based on the 2011 census. Result: Women will have 273+ seats (out of ~816 seats in the Lok Sabha) from the 2029 elections itself.

Expansion of the Lok Sabha – A Just and Practical Solution.
Currently, the Lok Sabha has 543 seats, based on the 1971 census. India's population has more than doubled. These bills will increase the Lok Sabha seats to ~816-850 (on a pro-rata basis). No state will lose its existing seats.

The growing populations of northern states will gain representation.

Southern states will not be penalized for family planning (relative weightage remains intact).

This is the right way to connect democracy with population reality.

Key Clauses of the Delimitation Bill 2026 (Clause-by-Clause Highlights from the Bill) Clauses 1-2: "Delimitation Act, 2026" and definitions (latest census figures = 2011 data).

Clause 3: Constitution of the Delimitation Commission – Former Supreme Court Judge (Chairperson), Chief Election Commissioner, State Election Commissioner.

Clause 4: Duties of the Commission – Reallocation of seats in the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies and redrawing of territorial boundaries based on the latest census figures (2011).

Clauses 8-9: Reservation of approximately one-third of seats for women (including SC/ST women), in different regions by rotation. Seats will be geographically compact, administratively convenient, and based on population ratio.

Clause 10: Orders will be published in the Gazette, publicly available, and cannot be challenged in court (finality).

Clauses 12-13: Overriding effect of the Act and repeal of the old Delimitation Act of 2002.

These clauses ensure that the process is fair, data-based, and timely.

Women's Political Participation – Strengthening Democracy
Today, women's representation in the Lok Sabha is only ~14%. 33% reservation will enable thousands of women to become MLAs and MPs. SC/ST women will also receive equal opportunities. This will bring inclusive governance, strengthen women's voices in policymaking, and elevate social justice to new heights.
