About some 17 years ago I would vacate and go to Madina to spend the vacay with Akua Asantewa (maternal Grany) those were my best days, she would let me carry her bag while we journeyed to the Madina market to sell fish.
Today she’s spending the weekend so I said there you go let’s go to all the places I work. You should hear her talk about happy she is in Akuapim 😂
Most of you came down hard on Jordan Ayew, but I’m struggling to see what exactly he did so wrong. Was he perfect? No. He had his moments and could have done certain things better. But reducing his entire performance to a one-pass compilation is a bit ridiculous. He played the role assigned to him reasonably well, yet somehow he’s become the main talking point while performances elsewhere on the pitch escape the same level of scrutiny.
It’s funny how standards seem to change depending on the player involved. Jordan will get dissected for every touch, while others can have quiet games and barely get mentioned. But I suppose that’s a conversation some people aren’t ready to have.
Carlos Queiroz was asked why he still called Thomas Partey despite his legal issues. The Portuguese coach says “let the river flow and one day when the river meets the ocean, we're going to find the truth.”
#ManCity are in advanced talks with Jeremy Doku over a new contract, reports @Santi_J_FM. Talks are progressing positively between all parties, with confidence growing that an agreement can be reached soon. 🇧🇪⚡️
Andre Ayew not being selected for the World Cup should tell you [Ghanaians] that I am not a minister who goes meddling in player selection. - Kofi Iddie Adams, Minister for Sports and Recreation
