GTA 6 NEW ROBBERY & ECONOMY DETAILS:
- Money is now split into three types: your bank balance, physical cash and the value of loot stored in a duffel bag.
- Money in your bank is safe, while physical cash needs to be deposited at an ATM.
- You can lose cash you're carrying if you die.
- Stolen loot in duffel bags must be taken to a fence to be converted into money.
- There are several tiers of free roam robberies, ranging from small stores to jewelry stores, banks and criminal compounds.
- Smaller locations like convenience stores and gas stations can be robbed but won't necessarily appear as robbery opportunities on the map.
- Higher-level robberies can appear on the map with an estimate of how much money you could make.
- New robbery opportunities can be discovered through story characters, favors, tips from people or simply exploring the world.
- Smaller payday loan locations can also be robbed.
- There are lots of criminal and gang compounds around the map containing drugs or cash that can be stolen and sold to fences.
- Compounds can be discovered through progression, tips from NPCs or simply stumbling across them.
- Robberies can be completed alone or with Jason and Lucia together.
- Making money through free roam robberies is an important part of the game rather than just optional side content.
- You can attempt to rob any store you enter, even if it isn't marked as a robbery opportunity.
- Store robberies can have safes in back rooms with combinations you need to discover.
- Safe codes can be found by searching the location or obtained through information from other characters.
- A fence can even text you the code to a safe inside a store.
- Robberies can play out differently each time depending on the location and NPC behavior.
- Some stores have back entrances that can be used to escape.
- Security cameras need to be dealt with during certain robberies.
- Civilians, clerks and security can attempt to fight back if they see an opportunity to stop you.
- Large armored vans around the map can also act as smaller money-making opportunities similar to GTA 5.
- Major story heists also return, although free roam versions of these have not been confirmed.
- Stolen goods no longer automatically turn into cash when a robbery ends.
- Different loot needs to be taken to the appropriate fence, including drug, jewelry and vehicle fences.
- Fences are discovered and unlocked as you progress through the game.
- This progression can limit which robberies are worthwhile early on because you may not yet know someone capable of selling certain stolen goods.
- At certain points, the story can completely stop progressing until Jason and Lucia reach a required amount of money.
- Rockstar wants these moments to encourage players to go into the world and decide for themselves how they want to make the required cash.
- These cash requirements can also give the main story time to slow down before new events and contacts become available.
- Money can be spent on clothing, makeup, hairstyles, headphones, earbuds and vehicle customization.
- Garages can be purchased to increase the amount of personal vehicles you can store.
- Stolen vehicles can be registered as personal vehicles by paying a fee.
- High-end stolen vehicles cannot initially be registered, with that ability unlocked through progression.
- Additional safehouses cannot be purchased because Jason and Lucia are on the run during the story.
- Rockstar did not give TGG a concrete answer on whether businesses can be purchased.
- Rockstar acknowledged GTA 5's problem of giving players huge amounts of money late in the story without enough meaningful things to spend it on.
- The team is actively trying to address that problem with the economy this time around.
- Rockstar is keeping some of the larger things players can spend money on secret for now, potentially because they are connected to the story.

A lot of people don’t seem to be happy with the fact that you can’t buy properties in GTA 6.
It does make sense considering Jason and Lucia are fugitives on the run.
However… we don’t know how the story unfolds and what will happen at the end of the game.
Do you think buying properties could possibly be reserved for endgame content when Jason and Lucia are potentially no longer on the run?
That would open up so many possibilities for when we’ve all completed the game.
Imagine how awesome that would be. You get to the end of the game and then a whole property buying system opens up.
Rockstar Games confirms GTA 6 will feature THOUSANDS of clothing options for Jason and Lucia.
For comparison, RDR2 had around 127 individual clothing pieces.
⚠️ No menu de pausa de GTA 6, Jason e Lucia aparecem e em uma das abas mostra como está o seu personagem.
A aba mostra até a quantidade de calorias que o personagem ingeriu no dia, além de informações sobre o corpo.

@TGGonYT This Jason situation is completely different from what happened with Arthur. At least Arthur had personality and didn't seem like a bot in the trailers.
The cutscene sequences and the little details are just sloppy for GTA6, a 2 billion dollar game.
Here in this scene, she has no bandana mask on her or on her neck, and within a 10-second sequence, as she was already driving, she has a mask on.
It basically spawned on her face, even as Jason puts his mask on himself.
She makes no moves to put on a mask before she floors it... and it's just another one of those implausible continuity issues that's jarring to see. It's a "state change" without the animation happening.
These kinds of issues, along with animation, SFX, etc are ALL OVER the extended look trailer, and this is what the team thought was good enough to ship for the official look.
Yeah, it's nitpicky, but that was the bar and expectation that the developers set for us, and IMO it didn't meet it.
@gearosplays RDR2 had straps on the longarm guns. Plus in RDR2 you can use the handgun in one hand & hold the longarm in the other.
It's not like they've didn't have the solution
I just don't get why people like you go out of their way to defend a game.
If they fix it you won't lose anything.
@gearosplays Wouldn't call this a sling. More like a holster. You can see slings in another two scenes (van after police chase, shooting range). I think this one is just unfinished. And btw. I'd love to see even holsters like this, looks really bad ass.
Police firing through the windshield of their patrol car, making it unnecessary to open the window to use weapons, GTAVI realism at its finest, we can even see the bullet holes
