yung atake ni pablo dito sobrang leadernim 😭 the way he ask the members if kaya pa nila umisa because the crowd keeps on chanting "isa pa" and how he listens to his member's suggestion kung ano ipperform — IMPROMPTU.

SB19'S VISA—A SOCIOPOLITICAL SONG THAT'S 'PLAYFULLY' REAL
Enter the trumpet sound, setting the mood of the whole song as something lively and 'fun'—almost as if someone is starting a journey and looking forward to their adventure. Yet, the next second, reality hits...what was perceived as luck turns into a challenge that needs to be completed before actually receiving the 'green light.' Ironic, right? Because while the song's color palette uses green—which, in color psychology, encourages people to feel safe (to dream)—beneath its surface lies red—the color of rejection.
The lyrics of the song are delivered masterfully with a hyper beat, yet the actual words used mirror the reality of every Filipino who has been overlooked.
“Wa epek, wala pa rin dating (Wala! Wala! Wala!)
Kahit na ano pa ang gawin (Ano ba talaga? Ano ba?!)
Baka naman kailangan lang ng VISA
Kaya 'to-follow' na lang rin yung bi-bi-bisa!“
The chorus of the song is delivered in a teasing manner, mirroring how Filipino dreamers are mocked for their dreams—even after proving they are capable and skilled enough to reach them. The country often fails to recognize talent while it is still in the process of striving, celebrating Filipinos only after they attain opportunities abroad.
“Noypi, Noypi, Noypi, Noypi
YI!
Noypi, Noypi, Noypi, Noypi
YEAH!“
This reality is captured in these lines, when you are just starting small, you receive disapproving glances and no support—hence the use of "yi," expressing disgust. But once you succeed, people cheer for you with a "yeah!" because you are now bringing pride to the entire Philippines.
Ultimately, "VISA" stands out as a powerful commentary masked behind an upbeat, playful sound. By contrasting cheerful melodies with hard-hitting lyrics about conditional support and artistic validation, the track exposes the tragic irony of how society treats local dreamers. It serves as both a mirror to Filipino cultural realities and a compelling call to value local talent long before it receives international acclaim.

Am I the only one who used to be a massive K-pop fan, but after watching #SB19, they’re the only ones I watch now? 😂 They set the standard too high and I feel like no one can match them, no one has even come close. 😅
Fight me!

So there is this Filipino Boy Group called SB19. They are under a Philippine branch of a Korean Company called ShowBT.
The producers are korean but the lyrics are in tagalog (written by the members) but i didn't feel any cringe at all! Their dance is also great 💯
