Next week we have @Allan_littlecar talking about “Ancestral ways to make worms and snails” in our @UGoe_AEB online seminar!!! Save the date - 24.01.23, 12:15 pm (CET)! PM me to get the zoom link! Looking forward to see many of you there!
Is there an app that could store papers to be read offline in a smartphone-friendly format? I use @Sciwheel to manage my references, but it is very hard to read the pdfs and I need internet to access them.
Our new preprint with @DarioCortese3 is up!
We model a 3D #quadriflagellate (well quadriciliate) and ask how changing gait influences swimming dynamics and flows. https://t.co/RKQiVDdvZM
(Sure the 'trot' might be the fastest gait but the 'pronk' has a more pleasing symmetry...)
Job opening: we are looking for a new Animal Technician to work in our Marine Invertebrate Culture Unit (MICU) in support of @JekelyLab & @MarInvMet research projects @LSI_Exeter & @UoEBiosciences

Another solution using cilia to the problem of motility in microswimmers. This time are two cilia on opposite sides of the cell coordinating to reach high speeds! https://t.co/buVrT1KbwT. @elife
@MelColemanLab , maybe this seminar is of your interest (the replay at least, as it already happened) . It probably is a little too basic for you, though: https://t.co/1RHIf5iW0d
#SIMposium website is up!
