Prayer for Hard Times: “God, I need your help. I’m really struggling with [say what’s on your heart] and I know I can’t figure out a solution on my own. I pray that You will show me what to do. I’m listening, Lord. Help me to be receptive to Your answer and to trust that You have all my best interests at heart. Lord, help me to be a blessing even in my time of need, so that I can bring You honor. And help me remember that I’m not alone. You’ve got me in the palm of Your hand and that’s the best place to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
It’s important to understand you won’t always get rich from one huge event. A lot of times it’s just improving things 1% percent a week. That compounds massively over time. Don’t get discouraged.
“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in life is to stop telling people everything that is wrong with you. It’s a big mistake to think that after explaining what you’re going through, people will offer relief. Later, you may discover that such outpouring achieves little because nobody truly understands the full weight of your problem since they are not there with you. Sometimes, after explaining everything to them, they even start distancing themselves from you.”
— Veteran actor Vitalis Ndubuisi.

Nicki Minaj speaks on violence and genocide against Christians in Nigeria at the United Nations.
The world needs to see this.
A confident person refuses to live in fear. “I will not fear” is the only acceptable attitude we can have toward fear. That does not mean that we will never feel fear, but it does mean that we will not allow it to rule our decisions and actions. Fear is not from God; it is the devil’s tool to keep people from enjoying their lives and making progress. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:38 that we are to live by faith and not draw back in fear—and if we do draw back in fear, God’s soul has no delight in us. That does not mean that God does not love us; it means that He is disappointed because He wants us to experience all of the good things He has in His plan for us. We can receive from God only by faith.
"Lord, I put my faith in You, and I refuse to live my life in fear. I will not run and hide when I feel afraid, but I will draw closer to You and triumph over it. Amen."
my father always told me: "if you want to go for a run, go for a run, don't look for company. sooner or later, on your fifth run or your twentieth, likeminded people will find you themselves." and only recently have I realized that this principle works everywhere.
Personally, I think we should be okay with having a great conversation with a stranger and leaving it at that; exchanging contacts isn’t exactly necessary. It’s one of the beautiful things of life to remember a good conversation with a random person and move on
Absolutely!

@dadaostephen I’ve been to this restaurant last year and IMHO the food wasn’t good. I struggled to eat my food because it wasn’t tasty. Nigerian restaurants owned and managed by Nigerians do it better.
