A fabulous day in Y2 today. A whole day dedicated to our art project, creating a landscape based on New Brighton. We used lots of different painting techniques, sketched with pencil and blended chalka to create different tones and effects. We are so very proud of your artwork Y2.

We brought back a classic today to develop Y2's oracy skills. The children could show something that was important to them and others were invited to ask questions. Excellent engagement, listening skills and we found out what was precious to our friends ❤️

Y2 have been engineers today, just like Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We have learnt about arch, beam and suspension bridges. We've also started making our own bridges. You've worked so hard today!
