I repeat, before you try to reduce me to one box, I was built from many worlds. My father is Luhya. My mother, Wanjiru, is both Kikuyu and Kamba. I was born into a Christian family, yet as a nuclear family we consciously embraced Islam as a way of life.
I carry many inheritances at once… cultures, histories, languages, beliefs, contradictions, and perspectives that refuse to fit neatly into simplistic labels.
The Most “Feared” Man in Tanzania… Meet Abdul Halim Hafidh Ameir's Alleged Role in State Terror
The world must heed the ongoing crisis in Tanzania following the October 29, 2025, general elections. President Samia Suluhu Hassan secured a second term with over 97 percent of the vote in a highly disputed process. This outcome came amid violent protests, an information blackout, and reports of hundreds of deaths. At the heart of these allegations stands her son, Abdul Halim Hafidh Ameir.
Sources describe him as the most “feared” individual in the country. Critics claim he leads the Tanzania Intelligence and Security Service (TISS) as a de facto terrorist organization. Designating him as such is imperative based on widespread accusations.
Abdul faces claims of orchestrating abductions and torture through a secretive unit. Opposition figures, journalists, and activists reportedly vanish under his influence. Former officials have raised alarms about these practices prior to their own disappearances.
Agents allegedly employ hidden facilities to inflict harm and stifle dissent. Amnesty International highlights this as a surge in repression beyond prior levels. Such actions mirror those of terrorist entities.
In the election's aftermath, Abdul is accused of overseeing suppressions that claimed numerous lives. Groups like CHADEMA estimate over 700 fatalities from security forces. Protesters targeted his assets in retaliation, including vehicles and an unfinished hotel. Reports suggest segments of the military have sided against him. This indicates orchestrated state violence to influence electoral results.
Without an official title, Abdul wields immense unofficial power. Insiders portray him as the dominant force in his mother's administration.
Uttering his name invites peril according to public sentiment. Claims persist that TISS under his command has executed thousands during unrest. Online calls demand recognizing TISS as a terrorist entity led by him. He reportedly converts security apparatus into mechanisms of widespread fear.
Human rights bodies, the United Nations, and outlets such as NPR document these concerns. They pinpoint Abdul as a primary orchestrator. Analyses from Africa Confidential connect him to pre-vote intimidations.
Despite mounting evidence, international response lags. Nations including the United States and European Union along with the UN must intervene. Label Abdul and TISS as terrorists. Enforce sanctions on assets and movement. Seek justice via the International Criminal Court. Precedents for groups like ISIS apply equally.
Tanzania grapples with profound discontent from longstanding issues. Abdul emerges as a focal point in this turmoil. The matter exceeds mere governance. It encompasses institutionalized intimidation under official guise. Disseminate this awareness. Engage world authorities. Insist on redress.
There’s an ongoing campaign trying to sanitize dictator Samia Suluhu ,painting her as calm, compassionate, and a leader who “listens and leads with grace.” 😳😳
Let’s be clear..No matter how much they try to rewrite the story, the truth remains. Samia Suluhu is a dictator and the African Union has become her enabler.
She doesn’t lead with compassion or calmness. she leads through fear, intimidation, and control.
But scaring people into silence won’t work.
Just like every other president abusing power across Africa, she must be held accountable.
Somebody tell President William Ruto that Kenyans are not fools. Let’s not sugarcoat it. The so-called Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes (Amendment) Act, 2025, is not a law against crime. It is a law against courage. It is the latest weapon in a paranoid regime’s arsenal, crafted not to protect citizens but to silence them. It targets not hackers or online fraudsters, but a generation that dares to speak truth to power without permission, without fear, and without a price tag.
What. A. Finish. 👏

Victory for the People!
Today, the courts have delivered a monumental judgement in the case involving NIC group and Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA), declaring the tax exemption under Legal Notice No. 112 of June 2019 unconstitutional!
In the legal battle, I exposed an attempt by these banks to evade over 7 billion KES in taxes through a merger that would have let them escape their rightful tax obligations with NCBA Bank and Standard Chartered being central to the transaction.
The Executive, through the National Treasury, had granted this exemption which bypassed the legal processes for tax matters making it unconstitutional.
Thanks to the court’s decision, Legal Notice No. 112 is officially quashed, protecting the public purse from this unlawful tax evasion.
This is a huge win for Kenya. We must stay vigilant and demand transparency!
The escalating situation in Kasarani is deeply concerning. Our team of Advocates has been unable to gain access to Kasarani Police Station, where some Kenyans are being held, as the roads have been barricaded. We take note of reports of several persons who have been beaten up and injured by police. We demand that the @NPSOfficial_KE exercise restraint from using excessive force against the people. We have also seen images of police indiscriminately lobbing teargas cannisters in largely residential areas and without provocation. This itself is a breach of the peace and order police are required to maintain.
Here he told William Ruto that he is a corrupt person and corrupt people are cursed.
Bwana who is this pastor? I want to give him my Malaria Vaccine 😂

The Belgium, UK, USA connived and assassinated Lumumba, hacked him into pieces, dissolved his body into acid and took his teeth to Brussels, simply because he was struggling for Congo independence. These are the same people that want to lecture us about human rights and democracy.
Some People on social media are complaining about the various exemptions made by the Ghanaian Government, to facilitate Captain Traore's appearance at the inauguration event of President Mahama. They failed to appreciate the demanding security challenges that the captain faces.
Captain Traore has faced 19 assassination attempts since becoming Burkina Faso's leader. No other African leader in our history, has ever faced this amount of threat to their personal safety.
He is the most hated African leader in the West and amongst other African leaders, who see him as a threat to their political survival, and as an individual exposing their incompetence.
He did not want to attend initially, but given the positive overture from President Mahama, who pleaded for his attendance, he felt compelled to attend.
He was not happy to be so armed, and I am very certain that there would have been an attempt on his life yesterday, if he had not presented this show of Force.
We saw how excited Ghanaians were, to host him, parts of Accra were essentially closed for up to two hours to contain the crowds of people wanting to welcome him.
He essentially overshadowed the entire event, which goes to show his popularity amongst Ghanaian citizens.
DON’T TELL US HOW TO SPEAK!
Just as any two living creatures have a common ancestor in the tree of life, so any two languages have a common tongue from which they ultimately derived. Scientists currently believe that the world’s 6,000 modern languages, from English to Mandarin, can all be traced back to a ‘mother tongue’ - an ancestral language spoken in Africa 50,000 to 70,000 years ago. Differently put: all languages are descended from primordial African!
This makes it all the more galling that Africans who visit, work or live outside of the continent are often taunted and laughed at because sometimes they don’t pronounce English words ‘properly’ - even though these words are ‘deviations’ (however far removed) from African-language words.
The continent’s turbulent history of colonisation is the reason for the use of European languages in African schools, commerce and governments today. However, something that is overlooked is that most Africans are accustomed to speaking multiple languages, perhaps three or more, throughout the course of a single day.
That’s one reason Africans pronounce certain words with an accent - they can speak other languages fluently enough for those languages to interfere with their English.
In this clip, Anna Mwalagho (@mamaafricaanna) - an African storyteller living in the United States - gives a passionate defence of the uniqueness of African accents, arguing that this diversity is something to celebrate and be proud of.
Hit like if you agree.
