Happy last night of lockdown 3.0, Victoria! To celebrate, here is the heavenly Miranda Turbitt reading ‘Never Trust a Mirror’ by Erin Hanson. 💋 https://t.co/MMnWMjg0HJ
A wise man (@PatrickBrammall) once told us to “keep poeming”, and keep poeming we shall until lockdown 3.0 is over. Reading John Milton’s ‘When I consider how my light is spent’ is the dreamy @HarryCook 💋 https://t.co/f9uBg7YnMG
Bringing our Valentine’s Day lockdown love-in to a close is the BRILLIANT Audrey Mason-Hyde reading their original poem, ‘Heavy Hope’. 💘 https://t.co/XwsEoUHFIV
Helping you settle in to your Valentine’s Day evening is the magical Maria Angelico, reading Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem ‘I am much too alone in this world, yet not alone enough’ 💋 https://t.co/tRjly4NEQX
Your next lockdown love poem is called ‘I will already remember you for the rest of my life’ by Hera Lindsay Bird, read by the phenomenal @PatrickLenton, editor of @junkee 💘 https://t.co/zvn9IrPJIY
Victoria, we may be spending Valentine’s Day in lockdown, but that doesn’t mean we have to spend it alone. Tune in this afternoon/evening to watch a lovely lineup of readers share their favourite love poem. Direct from our hearts to yours, LB 💋
Your 70th and final Quarantine Poetry reader is the divine Lexi Love-Dack, writer and lead guitarist of the all-female punk band Lazertits. She is reading a poem called ‘Guarded By Birds’ by Evelyn Araluen (@evelynaraluen). 💘 https://t.co/8vuqLp3UBk
Your continued support would mean the world to me, so keep an eye on this space! In the meantime, stay safe and “keep poeming”, as @PatrickBrammall so eloquently put it during his reading. With so much love and gratitude, Katie (@katiefound) x
Tonight will be the 70th and final Quarantine Poetry reading. From the very bottom of my heart, I thank every one of you for being part of the journey, and for opening your heart to poetry during this time. 💘
Line Break will live on, because poetry will always be necessary. What shape it will take, I’m not yet sure, but it will be here. I’ve been dreaming of hosting events and workshops, and continuing to share poetry in an accessible, fun and community-focused way.
