jaehyun talked abt whether we should do what we love or what we're good at. he said he's thought about this a lot bcs people ask him about it. there are so many times in life when we have to do things we don't want to do, but he doesn't really think we have to choose between something we love and something we're good at.
if you really really love something, you can somehow make yourself become good at it. when you love something, you naturally put effort into it, and if you genuinely love it, you'll eventually get better at it. he really believes in the "talent of effort"
he also talked about how cold the world can be sometimes. even if we try to stay strong, there are still times when we end up crumbling. but if we can be someone each other can lean on, we can keep a little bit of warmth. even when things feel hopeless, unfair, or frustrating, he hopes we can get through the day with just one warm word from someone who loves us 🤍

this entire 3 minutes of leejung and jaehyun talking about how they met/got close genuinely made me so emotional, from jaehyun’s trainee days till now, he’s always been the type of person to reach out for feedback wanting to do his very best and leejung appreciates just how much respect and dedication he has/has always had ㅠㅠ ♡

👤: At my previous agency, there was a male trainee who was supposedly insane. “who in the world is that?” “is he that good?” and when i was asked it was none other than Myung Jaehyun.

jaehyun even contacted leejung during chuseok after a long time of being busy with debut and asked her to dance with him, and leejung suggested they rent a practice room and she taught him her choreography. she was so touched that day. jaehyun saying it was because he really wanted to be good at dancing, and leejung told him “if you want to be good, you’ll definitely get better. just work hard” and he learned a lot.

them going into conversation over how much they have in common, and the mutual respect they have for each other and their professions/industries. jaehyun even reaching out to her for THIS comeback asking specifically(!!) if dancers would love animal..

because of how often jaehyun would reach out and all the genuine questions he’d ask her because he wanted to better himself/his artistry, leejung thought “this guy is really going places.” her saying to him before, "jaehyun, it's so great that you always study and research. even if you don't find the answers right away, you’re going to do great” and then seeing his team be successful.. she was deeply touched ㅠㅠ ♡

i loved hearing about their friendship.. seeing just how much mutual respect they have other as artists, performer/dancer.. jaehyun truly has always been the exact same person since debut. the most hard working, dedicated, and appreciative boy ever.
