@KettlewellMiss@mr_perez5@GeogDogKernow Likewise thank you!! You’ve reminded me I actually think I’ve made one like this for living world, will need to dig it out for this year!
I don’t know what is scarier, the fact that atmospheric CO2 just hit the highest level in human history, or that it has gone close to completely unnoticed…
We don't need more time in school, we more funding to be able to do the things we already do even better.
Why not fund TAs? Why not fund extracurricular activities? Why not fund school libraries? Why not fund teacher development?
Why not fund schools?

the amount of work that’s gone into producing these Y11 grades is astronomical and it’s going to have consequences - people are TIRED and somehow exam boards are the ones being paid for it- change the words ✨teacher burnout ✨to teacher exploitation and see where it gets us
Nepal 🇳🇵 is amazing!
“Cloud Avalanche” occurred near the Kapuche Glacier Lake in the mountains of Nepal. That scene is extremely rare, but a wonder of nature.
Evergreen blocking Suez Canal has fundamentally shifted the geography of the oceans: thousands of ships are now diverting along the 15th century Portuguese route round the cape of Africa https://t.co/8YuyhNllJS 1/n
@_MissB_20 Mine was about this in my NQT year, very rarely felt like a problem! With leaving early it was often the minimum, only felt long if I had to travel in rush hour. Also not ideal when there was bad weather. But allows you to switch off and think about day, I’d recommend 😊
Worth noting it's only 3 weeks ago that the DfE threatened to sue Greenwich council for closing early, 10 days since webinars on mass testing, 3 days since Williamson promising no further closures and just over 24 hours since the PM promised us that schools were safe. Total chaos

@hannahflower07@McAllister_Geog I used a visualiser and ensured students had diagrams of low & high pressure, solar insolation and Hadley cell before completing the full diagram. Really helped understanding. Will also focus on creating a model as a revision activity at the end of weather topic too.
Imagine updating the guidance for schools to fully reopen on the Friday of a bank holiday weekend, when some have already been back a week and the rest are back next Tuesday or Wednesday.
Imagine.
