@Papa_Tenko@sakoegodsway @the_marcoliboy If anyone at all can wake up and review stuff then why havenโt you started ? Do you have any idea who and what MKBHD is ? Bibifuo ne nkwasia kika.
It saddens me when I hear discussions about iPhone XRs converted to iPhone 17s and the fact that there are Nigerians who are interested in purchasing it.
Not because of the phones, but because of what it says about who weโve become as a people.
We now live in a country where appearance matters more than authenticity, where people would rather look rich than be honest.
Itโs no longer about value. Itโs about validation.
No longer about quality. Itโs about clout.
And thatโs why someone like BLord can build a whole business around this madness.
He understands us too well. He knows the average Nigerian doesnโt care if itโs an XR on the inside, as long as it looks like an iPhone 17 on the outside.
He knows weโll pay any price just to โbelong,โ even if what weโre buying is an illusion.
But the real tragedy isnโt that heโs selling it, itโs that thereโs a huge market for it.
A market built on insecurity, low self-esteem, and the constant need to be seen as โdoing well.โ
Thatโs what happens when a society loses its sense of self.
When we measure worth by packaging and success by perception.
Everything becomes fake, our phones, our lives, our values.
