When a recording academy voter is telling us to push for Album OTY, it means things are WAY better than we think or anticipate
Trust me. I've been watching every crumb of BTS grammy discussion since 2017 all sources. From the Best new artist mess, through discussions around Tear, first submissions, the recording package nomination, and every next year repeat. Things are DEFINITELY looking better compared to 2020-2022. When he says push for Album of the you, then we all push for Album of the year like there is no tomorrow.
Everytime I see Jungkook around his hyungs all I can think of is that twt which goes "He's so round because his hyungs eroded all his edged and made him into love" 🥹🥹
Recording Academy member Adam Merter Birson on BTS at the GRAMMYs 2027:
— "BTS ARMY should make a push for ARIRANG to win Album of the Year and not be marginalized with Best Asian Pop Music category. I think it's great if smaller artists could get recognized, but not BTS. BTS is way too big and way too important of a group to be falling into this trap."
No wonder they were shocked to get the bare minimum from western industry that the host listened to their album, the ignorance and xenophobia is so loud.
just want to remind people bts broke into the western industry when there was no space for them. kpop idols joined the industry after space was made for them due to bts’ impact. the grammys would’ve never made that category if it wasn’t for bts.
🐱: I saw from the corner of my eye and someone was being freaking annoying, so I was positive it was on of our members
🐹: I was wondering what was up with the staff
🐱:I knew it had to be Jeon Jungkook or jhope
Hobi’s endless giggles throughout were the cutest thing ever 😭😭
hits harder when you remember namjoon told us merry go round was written about the monotonous days of the military and that bts members were put into the harshest bases with some of the worst conditions and they survived that to come back together as a group
