The movement makes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III feel like a top ten Call of Duty of all time. Sledgehammer may actually be the best developer out of the three. In fact, every Call of Duty they've made could be a top ten.
Infinity Ward deliberately ignored feedback for a year only for Sledgehammer to be given the sequel to Modern Warfare III. This is going to prove that Vanguard would be considered a top ten Call of Duty if it was in a modern setting
It's ironic that the best thing about Modern Warfare II came from Treyarch. Even with ranked, Modern Warfare II is the worst Call of Duty ever made. In fact, people only like it because they would be trash if it actually played like a Call of Duty instead of Battlefield.
The MWII gunsmith is so terrible that you can use a base gun against fully leveled weapons. In an attempt to lower the skill gap they effectively made high level players even better and destroyed customization in the process. It basically makes your gun worse if you make changes
@moons_artwork You're so fucking awesome. If people went to a movie and they were required to use a controller for sections of it to unravel, then it would be regarded as a shit movie. Ask about The Last of Us and people don't even mention gameplay. That makes it a shit game with a good story
It's incredible that MWII quite literally does nothing to improve on it's predecessors. It has the worst class system, maps, movement, guns, customization, and gameplay in Call of Duty history.
Sledgehammer is officially making MW3 this year. This is going to be the best Call of Duty in the last five years. If it's just the gameplay of Vanguard in a current setting then it may actually be a top five Call of Duty. Vanguard was incredible and MW3 should be just like it.
Infinity Ward has never made a Call of Duty as good as Vanguard with the exception of Infinite Warfare. The gameplay exemplifies high level players. The issue is that it isn't made for terrible players. Ask anyone that likes MWII to show you the highest KD they've ever had.
MWII quite literally does nothing to improve from Vanguard. If Vanguard didn't have a World War II setting it would easily be considered a top ten Call of Duty. MWII had three years of development and Infinity Ward did absolutely nothing better than Vanguard.
If Sledgehammer made MWII it would have launched with 15 maps, a much better UI, and a gunsmith that didn't ruin your gun when you put anything on it. They also would have tailored the game for fast paced players instead of the losers that live at the bottom of the leaderboard.
The fact that neither of the Avatar films are as entertaining as any of the Michael Bay Transformers films is the reason I don't take anyone serious regarding movie discourse. The first Transformers movie alone is better than anything James Cameron will ever do with Pandora.
Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3, and Infinite Warfare are all higher on the top ten than COD 4, World at War, MW2, and Black Ops. Ask any above average players and they'll have at least one advanced movement COD in the top five. I've seen people put Infinite Warfare at one.
