If we really want to get our species through the climate crisis, we should put home ec classes back in schools.

Knowing how to fix, mend, sew, and cook shouldn’t be luxuries. Every person should know these things, and teaching them is good climate policy.

@CraftyCatDad - mine has sticky notes, a pen, hand sanitizer, a few tissues/napkins, cough candies, bandaids, bobby pins and elastics, safety pins, ibuprofen, a pad, a little sunscreen stick, and sometimes a granola bar. It has saved my butt so many times, and isn’t actually very big!
