I recently took part in a one-day course on the geology of Sardinia (in German!) It was great to learn about how the ancient geology influenced culture and human settlement... and of course looking at some treasures from the island under a magnifying glass!

Yesterday, on November 9, marked the “30th anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall.“ An installation celebrating this shows 30,000 colourful ribbons containing handwritten messages from people about their hopes for the future.
