We had a frozen pipe burst at the Monett Elementary School on Tuesday, February 16, at 2:00 am. We want to give a SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to the Monett Professional Firefighters, Steve Garner, the Maintenance Team, Custodian Crew, Tech Team, and our MES office staff!

Auto Technology Program received a generous donation from, Ann Spangler, granddaughter of Les Mason. Les established the Ford Dealership in Monett during the 1920's. Ann presented our Auto Tech Program with a $500 donation. These funds will be used to create a scholarship.

My mother-in-law was one of these 11. This is a horrid time, but we are thankful for @CoxHealth and the leadership of @SDECoxHealth. We know she has the best care and a team who did everything in her 3 week battle against this deadly virus.

So far, in the first two days of Thanksgiving week, we have lost 11 more patients to COVID-19, 191 total. It will be a somber Thanksgiving for many families, my thoughts and prayers are with them. Our metrics today:

Auto Tech put a pumpkin to the test yesterday when placing a passenger side airbag inside. This was a great example of how powerful an airbag is and the importance of wearing your seatbelt.
