Thoughts from BC practice:

- Quarterbacks are finding a rhythm. Mason McKenzie's speed and shiftiness definitely stand out.

- Javarius Green, Reed Swanson, Nedrick Boldin Jr. and Nolan Ray made a splash as pass-catchers.

- Kristian Phillips is very animated and isn't afraid to talk some trash to the defense.

- Griffin Collins and Marcus Upton were active defensively.

- Spirited practice with some healthy animosity.

BREAKING: Penn State is hiring Boston College RB coach Savon Huggins for the same role in State College, per Matt Zenitz. He led BC to the 2nd-best rushing attack in the ACC in 2023. Huggins is very plugged in to the state of New Jersey in recruiting; more regional juice on the trail for PSU.
