Man was given a contract shorter than he’d asked, knowing they were grooming a kid to replace him…had his ambassadorship request denied & STILL wanted to stay with that team.

I find it absolutely baffling the reports flying around that Mercedes didn't want Lewis as much as Ferrari did.

Why are Mercedes not committing long term to a driver that is still delivering at the highest level?

Why did they only want short term? Why did they not want the proposal that Lewis gave them?

It's literally LEWIS HAMILTON. The statistical GOAT. A driver that has delivered MULTIPLE world championships.

How do you let him slip from your team????
