We tell the parents and you should see their faces!! Pure embarrassment. They read with them but only lasts a few weeks before they stop.

@SandyChatterbox @safe_screens 3/ not only speech. We are finding otherwise healthy children struggling with gross motor skills. Is this through lack of exercise/playing and over reliance on screens.
Again, I personally don’t think screen time should be banned but definitely limited in these early years.

@SandyChatterbox @safe_screens 2/ we also see parents picking up their children glued to their phones without speaking to their child at the end of the day. Children in prams with a phone watching/playing games. A pram is the ideal opportunity to converse with your child.

@DrHoenderkamp Serious issue in our school. Due to lazy parenting simple as that, apart from 1 child.Staff spending valuable time changing nappies in children moving to reception. Ask the parents how the toilet training is going and they say ‘oh we put them in a nappy when they get home’🤷🏻‍♀️

@daveatherton I can confirm that Wigan is now a cesspit. Sexual harassment of teen girls, fighting with knives in the street. It’s sad to see it this way now. Hardly anyone shops in the centre of town unless necessary. It’s a fallen town

We fought for our rightful place in the olympics and we now have equal representation. Why should women stand down and lose everything associated with it. We simply shouldn’t have to. 👍🏻
