@jkoudys@mattpocockuk Yes, I was there too! 😁 Back then I started to playing in browser with jQuery. Only after that I learned vanilla JS and its core concepts. Then I was able to understand why jQuery was a great library at the time.
@mattpocockuk I agree, it's a framework. For example, I'm writing a Flutter app without a deep understanding of Dart. But if you want to use a framework professionally, I believe knowing the base language is crucial.

@rchardkovacs No-code tools are good. Some of them creates surprisingly performant sites as well nowadays. But if you need a highly performant app and you want to fine-tune it, you will need to code. So I think the good answer here is the classic "It depends". 😀
