The DEAL that we are making with Iran will be FAR BETTER than the JCPOA, commonly referred to as “The Iran Nuclear Deal,” penned by Barack Hussein Obama and Sleepy Joe Biden, one of the Worst Deals ever made having to do with the Security of our Country. It was a guaranteed Road to a Nuclear Weapon, which will not, and cannot, happen with the Deal we’re working on. They actually gave $1.7 Billion Dollars in “GREEN” Cash, loaded into a Boeing 757, and flown to Iran for Iranian leadership to spend anyway they saw fit. He emptied out all of the Cash from Banks in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Those Bankers said they’ve never seen anything like it before. In addition, Hundreds of Billions of Dollars was paid to Iran. If I did not terminate that “Deal,” Nuclear Weapons would have been used on Israel, and all over the Middle East, including our cherished U.S. Military Bases. The Fake News, like Lightweight Washington Post “Journalist” David Ignatius, loves to talk about the JCPOA, knowing that it was DANGEROUS, and a Complete Embarrassment to our Country. If a Deal happens under “TRUMP,” it will guarantee Peace, Security, and Safety, not only for Israel and the Middle East, but for Europe, America, and everywhere else. It will be something that the entire World will be proud of, instead of the years of Embarrassment and Humiliation that we have been forced to suffer due to incompetent and cowardly leadership! President DONALD J. TRUMP
On February 16, the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena sailed into the port of Visakhapatnam, India, for the International Fleet Review 2026. Seventy-four nations participated. Warships from Australia, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and dozens of others anchored alongside her. India’s President Droupadi Murmu reviewed the fleet. Iran’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani held talks with India’s Chief of Naval Staff on strengthening maritime security cooperation. The theme was “United through Oceans.”
The US Navy was supposed to send the guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney. It cancelled at the last minute. The Maritime Executive reported the reason: it would have been embarrassing to have Pinckney moored alongside IRIS Dena should war break out with Iran during the fleet review.
The exercise ended February 25. Three days later, on February 28, the United States and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury.
The IRIS Dena was transiting home.
This morning at 5:08 a.m. local time, the IRIS Dena issued a distress call from approximately 40 nautical miles south of Galle, Sri Lanka, just outside Sri Lankan territorial waters. The 180-crew Moudge-class frigate was sinking.
Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath informed parliament that two navy vessels and an aircraft were deployed. Thirty crew members were rescued and admitted to Karapitiya Hospital in Galle. The Straits Times reported 32 critically wounded survivors. Reuters, via the Economic Times, reported 101 missing and 78 wounded. Herath referenced an explosion but did not specify the cause. The Sri Lankan Navy spokesman said the operation was conducted in line with the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue. An opposition legislator asked in parliament whether the vessel had been bombed as part of the ongoing US-Israeli attacks. There was no immediate response from the government.
The cause remains officially unconfirmed. Some sources cite a possible submarine attack. Anadolu Agency reported the vessel ran aground. Sri Lanka Guardian cited unconfirmed security sources describing a possible underwater strike below the waterline. No US statement has been issued.
Here is what is confirmed.
The IRIS Dena is a 1,300 to 1,500 ton frigate, 94 meters long, equipped with anti-ship missiles, torpedoes, and domestically built engines. The first Iranian warship with a vertical launching system. She had completed circumnavigation missions. This was not a coastal patrol boat. This was Iran’s most modern surface combatant class.
And she was caught in transit, between a peacetime exercise and a war that started while she was sailing home.
Sri Lanka’s own warships, SLNS Nandimithra and SLNS Sagara, had participated in the same fleet review. Days ago they were anchored alongside the Dena in Visakhapatnam. Today Sri Lankan sailors are pulling Iranian sailors from the water off Galle.
If this was a US strike, it means the war has reached the Indian Ocean, 4,000 kilometers from the Persian Gulf. If it was an accident, a warship transiting through a war zone suffered catastrophic failure at the worst possible moment. Either answer reshapes the security architecture of the Indian Ocean.
One hundred and one sailors are still missing in the water south of Sri Lanka.
The theme of the fleet review they just attended was “United through Oceans.”

Deepawali is the largest, and perhaps the only, pan-India festival that truly brings people back home, as those away from family make their way to native towns.
It deserves a full week of national holidays. If needed, revoke holidays like Gandhi Jayanti and few more, that don’t resonate with the masses and give Deepawali the recognition it deserves.
Other countries set a precedent too, with long holidays for festivals like Chinese New Year, Christmas in West, and Japan’s Golden Week.
Pakistan cricket fans are getting distracted from their team's performance. The team is doing this shit, and the fans are playing along
The whole focus has shifted to war gestures of fictional situations, just to feel better when it comes to ran rivalry.
Is Pakistan's serious claim to fame that they shot a jet down in a 8 nation Cup? This whole radical Islamic fervour is taking them down. In the 90's they had a team with swag, which overshadowed their religious fervour.
Even if you get someone like Hesson or Gary Kirsten, one has to break through the religious cobwebs in the mind, to put focus on sport and skill.
Pakistan 🇵🇰 is a failed nation state running on religious jingoistic masturbation to feel better, than actually looking for real improvement.
The inconvenient truth, that's becoming clearer by the day, is that the U.S. doesn't have the world's leading military anymore, and not even the second: it's likely a distant third behind China and Russia despite spending much more than both of them combined.
Most serious military experts (like Sam Roggeveen here 👇: https://t.co/d3eplPT724), especially after Beijing's parade yesterday, now say - to quote the piece - that "it is no longer enough to say that China’s military is catching up, or that it is copying foreign military equipment designs. China is now innovating, and it is leading."
It is also leading in raw numbers: number of personnel, number of ships in its navy, number of tanks, number of hypersonic missiles, number of drones, military production capabilities, etc.
And as we're seeing in Ukraine, a war which - make no mistake - is a proxy war between NATO and Russia, Russia can win a war against the combined effort of NATO even when the latter have a home territory advantage (NATO trained and prepped Ukraine for years before Russia invaded). As the General Secretary of NATO himself admitted in July (https://t.co/HDEkd4gTch), Russia is "now producing three times as much ammunition in three months as the whole of NATO is doing in a year."
And remember: China's production capabilities are likely orders of magnitude greater than Russia's. It is, after all, now the world's sole manufacturing superpower (https://t.co/aQCdTIceV8).
This all goes a long way to explain many of the US's recent moves. Despite all the brave talk, fact is that the US is capitulating in Ukraine and withdrawing from Asia (https://t.co/tWj7l28chF). And, now incapable to impose its will on serious powers, the US has chosen the path of least resistance: intensifying the economic pillaging of weak, compliant Europe.
Which makes the whole thing relatively ironical: turns out the fear to have for a more powerful Russia and China were not so much Russia and China themselves but more how the US reacts when it can no longer satisfy its imperial lust outside of its sphere of influence - like a weakened predator that can no longer take down big game, so turns to devouring its own pack.
1/ President Trump’s 50% tariffs on Indian imports are now in effect.
This isn’t just about India’s unfair trade—it’s about cutting off the financial lifeline India has extended to Putin’s war machine. 🧵
Wearing the Indian jersey, singing the anthem, and trying my best each time I stepped on the field - it’s impossible to put into words what it truly meant. But as they say, all good things must come to an end, and with immense gratitude I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket.
Thank you for all the love and support! 🙏🇮🇳
