Professionally, always trying to become a better Engineering leader. Personally, a Dad, average golfer and supporter of a struggling English football team.
@alexarmstrong Maybe the question was too simple for Farage? To pretend we live in a society where all people can be judged on merit is delusional. This assumes it’s a level playing field. Maybe he should tell us how he would fix the playing field for minorities, instead of ignoring the issue
@PeteSmith1983 Dunno about Wales, but the version Stoke fans sing is different from the original.. I think it’s line 1 from the verse 1 followed by line 2 from verse 2 following by something quite different from “I felt the knife in my hand” the Stoke version implies they kissed and made up!
@StokeLoudProud Thank god we have finally scored, and won a game. Fingers-crossed that gives them the lift they need to play with a bit more confidence and creativity...
@taybenlor @thoughtworks could be a great option to sharpen skills and work at a few of the best tech companies without moving.. however, I hear @Xero is where it’s at nowadays 😉
@mygifttoyou I wish ‘outlawing’ was realistic, they already are in a few countries but still exisit and a blind eye is turned. Maybe they could be regulated like other weapons?
@MirWriter I think ‘banning’ is unrealistic, maybe regulation, sanctions etc are the way forward, like with other weapons of mass destruction. It’s not the markets that are the problem, it’s how they are run.. supposed to be illegal in Thailand, but that just means a blind eye
@berndschiffer@Erdbeervogel "removing coding from its selection criteria" is not quite true, we broadened the selection criteria so coding was not be be all, end all.. https://t.co/VzN5eTatXO
@clairlemon Hi everyone, while this is a great discussion we would like to clarify. We have not removed coding as part of our grad program selection criteria. Our criteria values equal opportunity in the industry & coding is still very much a part of the process.
