GPs earning over £156,000 will have to declare their earnings next year, no doubt in an attempt to shame them. Can you imagine if the partners of a law firm were forced to publically declare their take home? There is such a weird stigma around making money in healthcare

Speaking of work/pay conditions in #SLT#NHS, we deserve a higher pay. Speech and language therapists save lives. We treat people with swallowing problems and prevent choking/ aspiration pneumonia/ death. We improve quality of life. @RCSLT@NHSEngland
@alexisemma31SEN p2 Think of clinical governance and how you may have demonstrated each pillar, reflect on +ve and -ve placement experiences, use STAR/STARR (as noted by others) and remember good body language 😀😀😀
@alexisemma31SEN Remember to say buzzwords in your answers e.g., negotiation, teamwork, prioritisation. Have a key journal in mind that you know quite well and how that might inform your practice. Ask about non-clinical time (to complete NQPs, dysphagia comps, journal club etc)
To any student SLTs or NQPs - I'm currently doing my MSc in Speech and Language Therapy - for my research project I'm looking at anxiety and stress in SLT students in relation to placement. The survey is open to UK SLT students who have completed at least 4 days of placement
