Building and managing vibrant Web3 communities |Community Manager • Ambassador • Moderator |Open to internships & volunteering |Learning CM under @iamveektoria_
Hi,I’m Maryanne🙂↔️
A Web3 community manager, ambassador, and moderator. I help projects grow by managing communities, engaging with users, and keeping spaces welcoming and organized.
I’m open to internship and volunteering opportunities where I can learn and show support.❤️
As a moderator, staying emotionally steady is crucial.
You’ll face frustration, you’ll get blamed. If you react to every comment, you’ll burn out.
Your job is to stay calm, even when it’s hard. You can care deeply, but you don’t have to carry every wave of emotion.

Moral: just survive long enough to win.
I’ve been thinking a lot about growth lately.
I’m currently building in the Web3 space as a Community Manager, Moderator, and Ambassador. But I’ve decided to expand my skill set into UI/UX design specifically for Web3 platforms.
The only thing? I don’t have a laptop yet.
But I’m not discouraged. I’m studying what I can from my phone, and preparing myself for when I get the right setup.
Still open to Community Manager and Moderator roles in Web3.

Power dynamics inside Web3 communities don’t get talked about enough.
On paper, everything is decentralized.
In reality, some voices carry more weight.
Core team.
Mods.
Large holders.
Early members.
Aligning community incentives with project goals sounds simple, but a lot of projects get it wrong.
If you say you want serious contributors but only reward hype, that’s what you’ll attract.
How to “Win” a Bounty (Sort Of)
1️⃣ Act like you know what you’re doing: confidence is better than actual skilled writing.
2️⃣ Overthink everything: if it’s not 12 layers deep, are you even trying?
3️⃣ Cry strategically: tears means the judges will give compassion points.
4️⃣ Spam memes anyhow: humor is better than effort (sometimes 🤡).
5️⃣ Stare at the leaderboard: anxiety builds stamina, it will motivate you to win.
6️⃣ Blame the market if you lose or blame the judges: it’s never you, always the bear… or bull or the unfair judges.
And this, my friends, is why you keep losing bounties.
People follow rewards.
What you choose to reward is what your community will focus on.
So the real question is, are your incentives pushing the right behavior?
In my time in web 3, I've learnt something important.
And that is, Human investment > everything else in Web3.
Some of my best gigs didn’t come from virality.
They came from people I didn’t expect, watching quietly, then recommending me or projects or team leads reaching out because of what they see I do and how they love it.
Now, imagine I always go into fights or my page was messy.
That’s why reputation matters.
Be kind.
Be valuable and have skills.
Build real connections.
Avoid unnecessary fights, this space is small and names travel fast.
And integrity is non negotiable.
I once had someone copy my work for a contest.
Short term gain, long term trust lost.
The real fight isn’t against each other.
It’s against poverty.
Protect your name.
Happy Sunday everyone ☀️
Random thought.
Before a token event, the real question is whether the community is actually ready for it.
Do people understand what’s happening?
