He becomes the first Jamaican man to win the Commonwealth 800m title, finishing ahead of Luke Boyes 🇦🇺 who took Silver in 1:45.93.

Bronze went to the defending champion Wyclife Kinyamal 🇰🇪 in 1:46.12.
