@cmclymer@Jomboy_@JomboyMedia good assessment, only add is that "defense leaving the field" is considered complete when all infielders have crossed into foul territory, so my guess is from NY they felt the umpire didn't officially waive the run until after the infielders all step over the line
@HiMyNameIsSeton or make the whistle immediate, stop letting the play continue just to call it back. I know it takes time for semi automated VAR, but its a flow killer, just like reviews in every sport tend to be
@HiMyNameIsSeton I don't like the rule, but simply because I come hockey, if you are in contact with the "line" after the puck crosses you are good. To me there are so few goals at times in matches, if the player is in contact in any way with the back line it should be play on
@dpshow could 1994 Rangers GM 7 Cup Final be in consideration for most anticipated NY Sporting Event before last night. That was the year of Messier's guarantee against the Devils in the conference final
Byfield has 2 goals....on breakaways....against Dustin Wolf....TONIGHT....Yeah, lets not use him in the portion of the game where its....'checks notes'....A BREAKAWAY

@JoshSchaeferPxP "maliciousness...or malice....whatever" thanks for the good laugh and confirming I am not the only person who does that on air when I get stuck on a brain reboot π
Here's the clip of Kevin Brown's pregame comments on the Orioles' recent record against the Rays ahead of a series finale on July 23. Sources tell AA these comments led to Brown's current indefinite suspension from Orioles' broadcasts.
"More than an hour" has to be the most ambiguously frustrating term while waiting for Oogie Boogie tickets...could be less then 2 hours, could be 500, we don't know
@MarcelAndRogie Everyone needs to take a breath and let this play out. I recall a lot of griping when the Kings dealt Simmons and Schenn to Philly for Mike Richards...not saying this will work out the same way, but lets just see it thru.
