A KLM Airbus A321-252NX aircraft operating flight KL1583 suffered a tail strike during landing on runway 02 at Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) on 16 June 2026.

The aircraft registered as PH-AXB, suffered damage to the empennage area leading to the aircraft being grounded at Lisbon for further assessment and repair

@mamachell @unrulymalique With hidden lights and no obvious markings, catching speeders and reckless drivers will be easier and when Jamaicans have it in the back of their head that a cop can be any vehicle, the tendency to break the law will be lower

@mamachell @unrulymalique Simple solution to the speeding problem. Remove the vinyl from some police vehicles and make them actually drive in traffic to catch infringements as they happen instead of just speed traps. Jamaicans only follow the law when master stands over us with a beating stick

@richielawrence @cheftymoi My bad for trying to invest in a long term solution. We had a tropical wave last week and repairs made to George Lee Boulevard in the vicinity of Megamart last year have been made useless because the holes are back. It’s honestly a waste of resources to patch roads.
