I thought I needed to lose more fat. I was WRONG
I was already lean, but my face still looked puffy.
So instead of trying to get skinnier, I started paying attention to the habits that affected how my face looked.
This is my actual before & after.
No crazy debloat hacks. Just fixing the basics consistently.

Being lean but still having a puffy face is frustrating.
You lose weight.
Your body gets leaner.
Your abs start showing.
But your face still looks soft in photos.
So you think:
“Do I need to lose even more fat?”
Not necessarily.
Your face can look puffier from things beyond body fat, sleep, sodium-heavy meals, hydration changes, carb intake and other factors can affect fluid retention.
Getting even leaner isn’t always the answer.
Sometimes you need to fix what’s making your face look puffy in the first place.
I put the system into my 7-Day Face Debloat Guide.

I used to hate how my face looked in photos.
Not because I was overweight.
I was lean.
But my face still looked puffy, soft and tired.
So naturally, I thought:
“Maybe I just need to lose more fat.”
I was looking at the wrong problem.
Your face can look noticeably different depending on things like sleep, sodium intake, hydration, carbs and other factors that affect fluid retention.
That’s when I stopped obsessing over getting leaner and started fixing the habits affecting how puffy my face looked.
Less puffiness. More definition.
I turned what I learned into a simple 7-day guide.

You can be lean and still have a face that looks soft.
That’s what most guys get wrong.
They immediately think:
“I need to lose more fat.”
But sometimes the problem isn’t more fat.
Poor sleep, high-sodium meals, hydration changes and other factors can affect how puffy your face looks.
Before trying to get even leaner, fix the basics first.
A sharper face isn’t always about losing more weight.
@BatmanHealthist The sunlight point is interesting because there’s a balance, too little isn’t ideal, but too much UV exposure can accelerate visible skin aging. The dose matters.
@JohnAnthonyLife Fair point, social skills matter way more than a sharper face ever will.
But I don’t think it has to be one or the other. Improve how you look and how you communicate. Both compound.

Facial bloat, the thing that can change your whole face in days? Barely a tweet about it.
Somebody had to say it.
Losing body fat won't fix a puffy face.
Different systems. Different fix.
Most guys don't know this, that's why so many "lean" guys still look bloated in the face.
Appearance isn't just hair + physique + fashion.
There's a 4th thing almost nobody talks about: facial water retention.
It's why some "good looking" guys still look off in photos.
Two guys. Same haircut, same gym routine, same fit.
One looks sharp. One looks tired.
The difference is usually facial puffiness - not muscle, not style.
You can have great hair, a lean body, and dress well, but a puffy face makes you look tired and older than you are.
Most guys fix everything except this.

Wait, wait, wait. Let me check first.
Why does nobody really talk about facial bloat as part of looksmaxxing... on X?
Physique, hair, posture - all over this platform. Facial bloat? Almost silent. Weird, considering it changes how your whole face looks in a matter of days.
