You see people creating content about the music business like they’ve mastered it — sounding intelligent, speaking perfect English, breaking things down confidently. But most of the time, they’re just commenting on a game they’ve never actually played.
Give them a role at a label, hand them a real budget, and suddenly all that “expertise” disappears.
The music business is not a joke. Respect the labels and executives making things happen — they sacrifice a lot and work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the system running.

2 years ago I was in London for the first time to support @bella_shmurda and I said to myself one day I will have my own show in London too, I never knew it will be this fast
Thank you London for an amazing night
See you some other time ❤️
There are some ideas your mind would never be open to if you don’t have a certain level of exposure!
You need to intentionally seek exposure!
It’s as far as your eyes can see and as wild as your mind can conceive!
We need a Mental Health grp for Music Managers
There’s a big gap that needs to be filled.
Big gap. People are having their entire life commitments and sacrifices shattered because of FEELINGs or some1 feeding a fake new dream to an Artiste they gave all of their Youth
Sad

when you propose building and developing together , they say you’re not marketable.
When you pop, they say they “always believed.”
It’s not blindness.
It’s risk management.

what they miss:
Numbers can be manufactured.
Hype can be engineered.
And what are we left with? Manufactured Numbers, Engineered Hype.. that won’t last obviously!
These labels don’t invest in building.
They invest in proof.
And proof to them looks like:
•Big streaming numbers
•Viral moments
•Strong social engagement
•Clear monetization
If it’s not already moving, they don’t want to “build” they want to “amplify.”
Nobody talks or focuses on those that prioritize process, growth curve, leverage, and timing.
Putting in honest work, building brick by brick, investing when nobody is watching
This part, labels conveniently ignore because it doesn’t screenshot well.

First off. Alot of you need to shut up.
Majority of y’all still don’t know the true realities of this business.
It’s why y’all are catching this decline late.
There are two types of Managers/Executives
Those who know how to develop an artiste
Those who know how to maintain a developed artiste
Now you understand why some execs only swoop in to sign trending artistes but they never build one
