Cheating is a character flaw and I wish people weren’t so forgiving about it. It shows a willingness to deceive, to prioritize short-term desire over integrity, and to disregard the trust someone else has placed in them.

I heard a therapist say, “Your feelings are always valid, your behavior is not.” She explained by saying feel what you feel BUT you need to be accountable for what you do as a result of those feelings.

Correct. Because “wanting a baby” is desire-driven, “wanting to be a parent” is responsibility-driven. And I think the best parents are those who revere the role itself.
