Grade 8/9 went to Try A Career day in Balgonie yesterday. They got to try various trades and ask questions to professionals in different industries. Next they will be completing the youth readiness workplace training and getting resumes ready for some summer employment!

In #health we have been learning about #foodpolicies & societal food issues (eg, #foodinsecurity). In the past two weeks we have provided fresh & healthy snacks to our school in the canteen. Today, we wrapped things up by making & sharing a healthy snack with our buddies!

Thru inquiry the Gr. 1s learned about water pollution.They tried to be water cleaners but soon learned it takes a lot of work to undo the damage of what had taken minutes to pollute. My hope is they understand how important water & Mother Earth are to our survival #kidsdeserveit
