Mr @christiancalgie has been busy putting out a partial version of events these last few days, amplified by yourselves.
I think it’s time all your readers had the whole story. They were all out of order and, if they had any decency, would now hold their hands up and apologise.
@joelcardwellX@btharris93 It’s a mutation of the “Zelensky was about to give up and make peace until sneaky Bojo got in his ear and told him to keep on fighting” conspiracy theory that’s been doing the rounds among the hard of thinking for some time now
@OakenEmanation @AaronBastani Words are important. They are how the meaning is communicated. Without those (what you’ve reduced to “semantics”), there is no sound basis on which to discuss the meaning. We might as well agree that it means whatever we both decide it means and leave it at that.
@weirdfigs@ChrisBaldwin555@karl_fh Why on earth does that “seem to be more likely”? It is in fact completely counterintuitive to what you’d expect, given what we know about Russian sabotage operations within European countries
@donmcgowan@narindertweets My conspiracy theory/hot take is that they don’t have a strong candidate but think they can lose it and blame it on “sectarian politics”, which will help them nationally. I’ve seen this story forming in a few of their tweets already
