Today, a 21 y/o white man shot and killed 5 people in what one officer called, “the worst domestic violence incident [he’d] seen.”

Still struggling with explaining the scope of my pain to others. When I’m terrified of taking a group photo, they ask why and dismiss my anxiety. “Don’t be ridiculous, it’s a memory.” The pit that forms in my stomach when someone posts a photo without my approval is unbearable.
