The LPFC has fine-scale organization that gets missed in group-averaged data because of inter-individual variability. It is visible in individuals in both resting-state and task data.

@abigails_greene@esfinn We find that tasks change the brain in ways that both strengthen 💪 existing relationships with behavior and evoke novel ⚡️ relationships with behavior that are not observed during the resting state.
Building off impressive work from @abigails_greene@esfinn and many others, we tested how 🧠functional connectivity during the resting state and two executive function task states differ in their relationship to behavior in the ABCD Study sample.
🚨 I'm searching for a full-time research coordinator to join my group & work on precision brain 🧠 network and cognitive control projects at both 3T and 7T.
Applications due: Feb. 26
Start date: flexible, as early as June

Thanks to @LucinaUddin for giving our paper a shout out at #flux2025
This work was a fun collaboration with @t_nugiel@AshleyJJaimes

BREAKING: Federal judge rules that Florida’s ban on gender-affirming medical care for minors and many of its restrictions on similar adult care are unconstitutional. More to come at Law Dork. https://t.co/oFbD0Zrr6I
🚨So excited to share our new paper with the @texasldcenter team now out in Cerebral Cortex https://t.co/d7PdptVHjb!! We examined functional connectivity of cognitive control, reading, and math🧠systems in native Spanish speaking English learners.
I’m excited to share our new preprint – led by @hyejinjadelee & Derek Smith – where we applied precision approaches (i.e., extensive per-participant data collection) to behavioral measures of inhibitory control.

A week ago, I start a poem as a means of processing the fatal shooting on UNC Chapel Hill's campus. Now I'm hidden away again in the very same classroom, and I finally found the words to finish it.
🚨📢🚨📢 I'm recruiting a lab manager and graduate students for my lab at FSU! Check us out here https://t.co/mCEPrDHoOR. If you're interested in the brain basis of learning and attention problems in children I'll be at @FluxSociety next week - let's chat!
Hey hey! The @dcnlab_ut in @UTPsychology is recruiting a graduate student for Fall 2024! Please reach out to me with any ?s, and if you're going to be @FluxSociety next month, come say hello! 🧠📊🤠
I will be joining Florida State University Dept of Psychology as an assistant professor this Fall! My lab will investigate the role of neural oscillations in cognitive control and mood disorders using TMS, tACS, EEG, and fMRI. I am hiring at all levels: https://t.co/ffTJUh4QRZ
Excited to announce that the Hermiller Lab is recruiting grad students as well as postdocs, lab manager, and research assistants (to start ASAP). Email [email protected] if you’re interested in studying human memory with MRI & TMS! 🧠 https://t.co/aCcZd4wI9t
I'm excited to share more information about my lab soon but in the meantime check out https://t.co/0ANUrkAv4w. I'll be recruiting lab staff and graduate students. If you're interested in brain development, cognitive control, learning difficulties, or ADHD, get in touch!
In some ~life news~ - I'll be joining the psychology department at Florida State University @PsychologyFSU as an Assistant Professor this Fall! I am thrilled to be joining an amazing group of colleagues. I don't have any gear yet but my niece and nephew do and they are stoked!
