What does a mask do? Blocks respiratory droplets coming from your mouth and throat.

Two simple demos:

First, I sneezed, sang, talked & coughed toward an agar culture plate with or without a mask. Bacteria colonies show where droplets landed. A mask blocks virtually all of them.

The minutes of SAGE meetings before the fateful March 12 press briefing have not been released. March 13 meeting had 14 government advisers and ten independents: 4 math modellers, 2 virologists, 3 behavioural scientists + a clinical academic. Not a single public health person.
