@midoridayz i usually do 4k by 4k but thats because i tend to draw pretty small relative to the canvas size so making it larger from the beginning helps with the quality later on
@WeVennStudios mine is a game about picking and placing segments to survive boss rush countdowns, kind of a mix between roto force and ultimate chicken horse
@murasaki_akio@SaGa_NeilB depends on the engine of course but godot for example supports BBcode so you can put images in labels by just changing an option on the label and using the [img] tag in the label's text
@NunuFxx@gdechichi@unity the knowledge is very transferrable once you learn one so I'd say just get a quick feel for the ones you're interested in and see which one you like best based on that, or even just go based on the ui
@StayAtHomeDev there are just 3 i really want; color coded region comments, a ModulateTexture type (for themes), and for the debugger session tabs to say the multiplayer id so it's easier to debug
havent had time this week to work on the game all that much because of life things so i probably won't post a clip for a couple more days, but i've decided to branch out into either a co-op puzzle game or an arcade pvp game so we'll see how it goes :]
my goal of posting every day sadly died quickly so uhh week 2 of making my explosy pototy game
got the first character in, started integrating some steam stuff but i cant show that yet sadly

day 1 of making a multiplayer game about explosive potatoes (potati? idk) 🥳
admittedly nothing fancy looking yet, i plan to add some art and cool explosions tomorrow, just trying to start the habit of posting
