The End of Collector Dominance

One of the main problems of the web3 art ecosystem has been the need for Artists to spend huge amounts of time promoting their art and basically sucking up to collectors.

🚨 Artists should not have to do either of these! 🚨

With @vitruveochain we decided to flip the script to end these practices.

1) Artists Consign their artwork and they are done. Zero marketing required.

2) Instead of a few "collectors," we are working to build an ecosystem of hundreds of thousands of art "appreciators."

Artists should get used to not knowing who obtained a license to mint their art. In a truly decentralized model, the buyer is just an address.

There is no marketplace and they may have licensed your work on a website, from a X post, in Warpcast, from a streaming display, from a Google Ad, Insta, someone's blog, an RSS feed, and many more channels. They may not have an X account even. Of course the licensee can always reach out to the Artist if they want.
