It's been three weeks since MacMillan Kiarie Mugo was abducted by people in a black double cabin with no number plates. THREE WEEEKS!!! #FreeKiarie#FreeZizou#FreeOloo#TekelezaKatiba
Pale Kikuyu, footpaths and pedestrian pavements zimefanywa parking lot za HCVs, some parked with full loads of mchanga, simiti, chuma...you get the idea.
Pedestrian sasa kazi ni kucheza chicken with bodas and matatus kwa barabara.
Ngubuism to the core!!
Oginga Odinga talked about it in NOT YET UHURU. The loans the British gave Kenya at independence were to pay British colonial officers their pensions, and to buy the land the settlers stole from us. It's like what the French did to Haiti, making Africans pay for their freedom.
capitalism is the extraordinary belief that the nastiest of men for the nastiest of motives will somehow work together for the benefit of all.
a truly delusional economic system
A 70 year old caller on Spice FM has claimed that the IEBC is likely to lead Kenya into civil war because of what he describes as the commission's bias, citing its failure to act on claims of voter bribery in Ol Kalou.
A number of people in STEM don’t like to hear this. But every society needs to have a healthy number of its educated adults in the humanities. And funded to a good extent too.
😂😂😂😂 I will always insist that the set book writers were prophets because Mr. Shoot to Kill is here loudly promoting a coffin business. I think all Kenyans will go to heaven because we have suffered a lot.
He said the quiet part out loud.
Re-conolization of Africa is on the cards with the way the world is going.
Wake up and resist these lunatics hiding behind religion
Capitalism has the strangest survivorship bias. It celebrates the handful who made it as proof the system works, while the billions who didn’t are treated as personal failures, not evidence of design
Worth watching the full clip. This is happening all over the country. People's elected representatives have abandoned them and literally signed their allegiance over to corporations.
Probably the most disturbing thing you regularly encounter in America is how many people have been socialized to worship the profit motive as some sort of God that holds higher value than things like children being able to play sports
"I have over 85 cases that I am defending. This morning, I was supposed to be in court to be sentenced for contempt. I have 85 court cases, and the majority of those cases are by a sitting senator," Hinga said
Very hi @OkiyaOmtatah ,
Thank you for being an active citizen 🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽
American liberals embracing this blatant corruption is exactly why their country is in the state it is in. If you're not principally opposed to corruption, if you cheer and make light of it whenever it favours you, you are furthering the rot at the heart of your society.
KDHS Data from 2014 shows 19% of girls aged 15-19 had live births. In 2025, more than 7000 teen girls gave birth in Kilifi. Attributed to poverty and harmful cultural practices by elders. Can these clergy and elders tell us what they are doing about this decades long problem?
Just a reminder that shortly after being appointed president in 2017 that Infantino was instrumental in a major FIFA overhaul that ousted the two independent co-chairmen of the Ethics Committee, Cornel Borbély and Hans-Joachim Eckert. At the time, the committee was actively investigating… Infantino
Here's a sermon for next Sunday: the golden calf of infrastructure. What is an idol? An idol is a sculpture built by human beings that human beings worship as a god. In other words, the creator worships what he created.
That's how the government sees infrastructure. Rather than infrastructure being something built by humans to use, it becomes the reason for which to oppress human beings. We worship infrastructure to the point that we must not question it, that we must suffer under looting, oppression and taxation for it.
That's idolatry. If the infrastructure is going to cost us being looted, then let's do without it. Sabbath must be for the people, not the other way round.
The claim that Kenya possesses no alternative except permanent submission to the dictates of international finance is not a scientific conclusion. It is an ideological defence of the existing order.
