It’s true entrepreneurship will help but the question here @fx_sosu is “where will the capital come from?”. What is the government doing to help the youth ready to be entrepreneurs but can’t due to funds? What happened to NEIP? Is it even working under this government?
They’ve even disconnected over 26 million fake SIMs using AI analysis and their Digital Intelligence Platform. If India can build and deploy this with their own engineers, Ghana can absolutely tap into our local and diaspora talent to do the same.
@samgeorgegh India has already done what we’re saying is “impossible.” Their government uses Aadhaar‑based biometric verification combined with local AI tools to authenticate identities and detect fraudulent SIM registrations.
“AI can eradicate duplicates, but what AI cannot do is authenticate which of those duplicates is original…instead of picking each of the 30 million, we’re better off giving everybody the opportunity to do their own registration again.”
— Samuel Nartey George on the SIM re-registration exercise

@Citi973@samgeorgegh We have Ghanaians abroad building their own AI models already. @Er_dward is one talented Ghanaian doing amazing work in that space. There’s also Darko here in Canada who’s strong in machine learning and AI. The expertise exists, there’s no harm in asking or collaborating.
@Citi973@samgeorgegh please that’s why you need to train the model, train it and it’ll work for you though you’ll still need a human in the loop for authentication
