The crazy thing about this is no one will call them radicalized for leaving the states to go fight in the Middle East. And yet it very much is radicalization.
i’m so connected to amaya like being a girl who’s told ur too much or too sensitive or cry too much… and then crying when ur told that. like i’ve never felt more connected to a person on screen in my life.
olandria wasn't allowed to date in high school...oh okay...been single for five years...oh okay...olandria not letting herself cry...oh okay...first to graduate high school and college in her family...amazing...strict household...yeah..people pleasing tendencies...for sure...
I love the gilded age so much. Lowest stakes on television. Five minutes of interpersonal conflict about which silver to use for dinner. Absolutely incredible.
An image so embarrassing it actually managed to horseshoe back around to inspiring. Where I used to see humiliation and cringe, I now see a triumph of the self and a rare demonstration of radical bravery…
too many bombshells. not enough time spent in original couples. not enough dates. too much production influenced drama. too much authority given to islanders. #loveislandsusa
I want everyone to see this because the West has dehumanised so much of our identity across the Middle East for centuries. They’ve been made to believe we come from nothing more than desert tents that flap in the wind. We come from culture. We must humanise our region and people.
