@unxpctdisvry My issue is that after being a stay at home mum for 12 years (and having time to cook every day) now that I work full time everyone in my household still thinks there will be a hot meal prepared for 6:30pm 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Elizabe13014545 @Fat_Wolf I don’t qualify for any benefits, I work damn hard for the money I earn to pay the bills, I can just manage. Having to pay for those vital clubs would push us over the edge! So Who decides who ‘can afford it’

@pauldent79 @Elizabe13014545 My child goes to a free breakfast club, this enables me to get to work on time therefore being able to pay my mortgage and bills. Should I keep him home and feed him there instead, not go to work and be on benefits instead??? Am I deemed a failure as a mother?!

@Elizabe13014545 @UnicornsSparkl7 I also believe school’s priorities have changed. Requiring parents to pay for £100 school trips(unmanageable with 1 child let alone more than 1 and £55+ blazers(that can only be purchased in one shop)was never a thing when I was at school.

@Elizabe13014545 I grew up in a deprived area too, but back then parents didn’t have to pay for cartons of milk (it was supplied to all children for free) parents also weren’t asked to pay for lavish trips & outings. My parents also weren’t expected to fork out £55+ for a blazer for high school!!

@m_chiles Both my sons are good kids, they’re not over achievers nor do they misbehave at school. both are overlooked because they just get on with it. While the misbehaving kids get treat Fridays and certificates for better behaviour in assembly. Doesn’t make sense!

@RachelFairfiel1 My eldest 2 were made mentally unwell by SAT testing. It took a long time to get them back to their normal happy selves & ruined their last year of primary school. We moved to wales & thankfully my youngest is having a wonderful year 6 experience as no SATs here. I’m so sorry 😔

@HerbsandDirt My ex mother in law who is in her late 70s has undiagnosed Asperger’s syndrome without a doubt. She’s just managed in her own way all her life.

@lisakeb007 This is utter crap, I had a grandmother 88yrs and a mother 64yrs who both suffered with mental unwellness, so it’s not a generational thing and I could never have spoken to my mates about the big stuff for fear of being left out for being eeyore. Kids today just understand more.

@DonEladio308 Absolutely, biggest problem is shes the only MH nurse available in the area apparently.when trying to make an app to see someone else I’m told I can see her or no one. I asked to see a gp instead & I’m told gps don’t deal with mental health. So have to white knuckle alone now. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@CarissasNewLife I was asked the same question by the MH nurse, when in crisis. I said yes she said “come on, you’ll feel better tomorrow, your just anxious” 🤦🏼‍♀️ she then proceeded to say how she didn’t really believe in therapy and preferred yoga and herbal remedies!! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
