I probably won't tweet much. I'm mostly on here to learn about impromptu shows and to get occasional laughs from comedians. And unfortunately also politics -=J
@OculusDiscrim@ninaturner People at the time knew it was wrong, which is why Pennsylvania passed the Gradual Abolition Act and George Washington had to shuffle his slaves around every six months so he wouldn't lose them. "...of the time" isn't an acceptable argument when the evidence shows otherwise.
@scottEmovienerd I once had a British person ask me if I ever had cheese. He seriously thought all cheese in the US was "American" plastic cheese. I learned that this wasn't a fluke because (mostly due to tariffs) we only export the crap. Might be the same for Chocolate?

@scottEmovienerd Lower left is the geisel library, where I spent many, many, many, many hours as a student. Honestly, I always thought "spaceship library" was a cool building.
@JonathanKadmon@joshuarolson@briebriejoy Haha, "good buddy". Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but Josh is not a fan, considering that he recently did an entire podcast on the right's love of Maher.

@FrankConniff@MST3K I disagree with @FrankConniff politically on some things, though we're on the same "side". I still think he's funny as hell and have never missed a Mads Are Back since it started because (shock) I'm able to enjoy art by people who I may differ with on opinions. Guess I'm weird.
@scottEmovienerd @BriguySalisbury Tokyo Drift. Sorry if this is harsh, but in a film series full of questionable acting, Lucas Black as the 24 year old high school student is the weakest one to try to carry a film.
@scottEmovienerd Jacob's Ladder, Demon Knight, Bride of Re-Animator, Tremors, New Nightmare, Nightbreed, Stendhal Syndrome, Raising Cain, Castle Freak, People Under the Stairs,...
@bobm100 @scottEmovienerd Funny, but the aliens never bothered me. It was in line with the pulp nature of Indiana Jones. For me it was the terrible cinematography and lackluster CG effects in the limp action scenes. Ugh, that jungle chase.
