The remains of Mmesoma Umeora, who was allegedly m^rdered by her ex-boyfriend, are in Uga, Anambra State, this morning.

Mmesoma, a native of Uga in Aguata LGA, was reported missing on October 16, 2026. Her body was reportedly discovered inside a sack in a gutter in Unubi, Nnewi South LGA, on October 23.

The suspect, identified in reports as Chima Ofoeke confessed to k!ll!ng her following the breakup of their relationship.

The case is reportedly under investigation by the Anambra State Police Command.

His name is Emmanuel Chima,According to the account circulating about Mmesoma’s tragic death, her boyfriend allegedly kpai her on Friday. By Tuesday, he had reportedly gone to the Uga commander to report that his “ex-girlfriend,” Mmesoma, was missing.

What makes the story even more disturbing is that, at the time he first approached the commander, Mmesoma’s family reportedly did not yet know she was missing. He allegedly wanted to make a formal report at the police station, but the commander questioned why he was reporting her disappearance before her family had raised the alarm.

He reportedly went home and returned the following day with his brother. By then, Mmesoma’s family had started announcing that she was missing.

But the breakthrough came through the motorcycle rider who reportedly carried Mmesoma on Friday. God bless that man for the information he provided. 🙏

According to the account, the rider took Agunaechemba to the location where he had dropped Mmesoma. When they arrived, they discovered that the location was the house of the boyfriend who allegedly kpaied her.

They began searching around the house and reportedly discovered a broken phone and a SIM card. When they questioned the boyfriend about who owned the phone, he allegedly admitted that it belonged to Mmesoma and that he was the one who had broken it.

It was reportedly after this discovery that he led Agunaechemba to the bush where he had dumped Mmesoma’s body.

Omo, things dey happen! 😭💔 Imagine allegedly taking part in someone’s disappearance and then being the first to report that the person is missing.

All thanks to the motorcycle rider whose information reportedly helped lead investigators to the suspect and the location of Mmesoma’s body. May justice be served for Mmesoma. 🕊️🙏
